SWSI personnel were retained to provide the Safety Coordinator role for a remote seismic operation located at the mouth of the Mackenzie Delta and extending into the Beaufort Sea. This operation was the first time in thirty-five years that the delta had been mapped seismically and the first time utilizing track mounted drills on ice. The Safety Coordinator represented the oil company and was responsible for all aspects of the operation including advance site mobilization and setup, ice road startup, contractor monitoring and general site safety overview.
